Each morning, Vix, Verne and Velvet watch their mistress Josephine ornament herself with the latest flapper fashions. The trio decides to discover her beauty secrets by exploring the bedroom vanity. Pots of rouge and face paint, powders and perfumes, hair combs and lotions – what a lot of fun cat toys! Vix and Velvet take right to it, putting on ribbons and checking out the sultry effect in the mirror. Verne is a little more subdued and prefers to watch the girls from under the chair. Inside the vanity’s drawers Josephine has hidden her most valuable jewels to keep them away from her cats’ playful paws.
