Throughout 1997, HK issued six limited edition single roses, each with distinctive exterior coloration and interior scenes. As a grand finale to this exceptionally popular series HK produced the “Sterling Rose,” limited to an edition of 1000 pieces and distributed exclusively through Queen Empress dealers. Inside, a removable Lord Byron, enameled with red and black, is having a solitary dinner with a candelabrum adorning his table. The base of this solid sterling box figurine reads: “The Sterling Rose, Limited edition of 1000, .925 sterling.” Pieces are not hand-numbered but a certificate of authenticity with production number accompanies each.
